Team Courage Training and Mentorship Program 2023  

The Team Courage Training and Mentorship program came to a conclusion at the Seven Great Princes Academy at Dansoman yesterday 11th March 2023.

This is a training and mentorship program instituted by Courage Nanevi a former national table tennis player who is currently based in the USA.

The aim of the initiative is to introduce our players to new methods in the game of table tennis and also to support the clubs and players in Ghana with the equipment needed to play the game.

This year’s event was patronized by thirty (30) selected players, twenty (20) of which were male players and ten (10) females from ten (10) table tennis clubs found in various regions of the country.

At the end of the training and mentorship program was a competition between the players, to help test their new knowledge.

Francis Antwi of the Hope Table Tennis Foundation based in Nungua and headed by Apostle Samuel came first in the boy’s division after defeating Prince Aklie of the Ashiaman Table Tennis club headed by Mr. Golightly a former national table tennis player, and Mary Naa Borkor of the Diamond Table Tennis Club headed by Madam Diamond, based in Nungua also came first in the girl’s division after defeating Juanita Borteye of Rising Stars Table Tennis Foundation coached by Nii Otu.

The clubs who participated expressed their profound gratitude to Mr. Courage Nanevi for introducing such a program and ensuring that the clubs are given some level of support.
